Lets first start by giving you some FAQS on the Apparel we print on
Doing things the right way has never been up for debate. We have been manufacturing in the U.S. and internationally in a no-sweat-shop, humane, sustainable way since day one. Our Platinum W.R.A.P. certification is just a small indication of how hard we work to make our sewing and cutting floors pleasant, productive, comfortable places to be.
- Clean Cotton: We comb out 2.5x more impurities than standard ring spun cotton
- Long Staple Cotton: This makes for less stray fibers and a tight-knit print surface
- Eco-Dyed: Our fabric is dyed using 7x less water and eco-friendly dyes
While the Fabric is Pre-shrunk, We do highly recommend to wash with warm waters and alike colors. Tumblr Dry on Low is recommended as well.
Innovating from thread to finish. We make timeless, authentically worn-in styles that people want to wear today and tomorrow.
Offering the best in everyday basics, Alternative creates wardrobe staples with modern silhouettes, balancing simplicity and style.
Our design is rooted in sustainable and eco-friendly practices. We source the finest fabrics for softness and durability, and incorporate organic and recycled materials wherever possible.
- Organic Cotton -Approximately 60K lbs of organic cotton used annually in place of conventional cotton.
- Post-Consumer Recycled Poylester- Approximately 1.8M plastic bottles recycled annually used in our Alternative-Eco™ fabrics
- Low-Impact Dyes - Low-impact dyes, biodegradable fabric softeners and washes with reclaimed water.
- Eco-Friendly Packaging - 2,100 trees, 400 cubic yards of landfill, 860k gallons of water and 120 tons of CO2 conserved annually
Alternative items are always specially washed, which not only gives them their super soft texture, but pre-shrinks them as well. As with all jersey garments, however, they may shrink a little in the wash and stretch a little during wear. We continually strive to perfect this process so everything you get from us will look and feel like a favorite each and every time.
