Photography has always been what lights Stu up. He followed his passion by studying Art in college with a main concentration on Film Photography. As he was introduced to new camera Technology, he chose the Canon course and never looked back.

He has worked hard to establish a photography career that has expanded from art, to commercial work, to exploring waves and underwater as well.

Stu finds beauty in all of his surroundings. He has a beautiful wife and 2 amazing daughters who are his world. He is the proud Co-Owner of Soley Aloha Boutique & Gallery located in the Heart of Paia.

The iconic Aloha Shapes is just one of his many artistic expressions and stopping by the gallery is a great way to see his work large scale on the walls.

Eduardo Bolioli

Born in Uruguay and shaped by the waves of Hawaiʻi, Eduardo Bolioli is one of the most celebrated surf artists in the world. After studying at the School of Visual Arts in New York City, Eduardo followed the call of the ocean to the North Shore of Oʻahu in the mid-eighties — painting surfboards for world champions Shaun Tomson, Martin Potter, and Sunny Garcia. His discovery of Posca markers in 1987 gave birth to a bold, graphic style that is unmistakably his own: vibrant color, fluid line, and a deep reverence for the sea.

From designing for Quiksilver, Gotcha, and Billabong to becoming the iconic Absolut Hawaiʻi artist in 1992, Eduardo's work has graced galleries and private collections around the globe. Each signed print in this collection tells a story — of free divers and frigatebirds, legendary surfers and Haleiwa sunsets, spinner dolphins and the quiet joy of a perfect wave. Available exclusively at Soley Aloha, these limited art prints are printed on acid-free paper and signed in pencil by the artist himself.
