Born in Uruguay, Eduardo Bolioli migrated to the United States where he studied at the School of Visual Arts in New York City. Seeking to balance his passion for art and surfing he moved to Hawai'i in the mid-eighties and began painting surfboards for world champions like Shaun Tomson, Martin Potter and Sunny Garcia.
Later in 1987, he discovered Posca markers, allowing him to develop a new and unique style of painting surfboards. Eduardo soon became an art director for Blue Hawai'i Surf and Local Motion while also designing for Quicksilver, Gotcha and Billabong.
In 1992 he became the Absolut Hawai'i artist, and his rendition of the famous Vodka bottle was featured on a nationwide campaign. Since then, Eduardo has achieved worldwide acclaim for his art and his work can be found in galleries and private collections around the globe.
